We are based in Tauranga, in the beautiful Bay of Plenty.
Over the summer months ( Nov to May ) we run regular trips out to swim and kayak with the hundreds of common dolphins that inhabit the bay, as well as coastal cruises further afield.
Great Barrier Island, the Hauraki Gulf, Mercury Isands, Poor Knights, and the Bay of Islands , are all within easy sailing distance.
Visit White Island, an active volcano, or Tuhua Island, home to the largest pohutakawa forest in the world, an ancient source of volcanic obsisdian, and an absolute paradise for diving and fishing, bushwalking and bird watching.
From June to October we head for warmer climates so join us for a tropical vacation and cruise the S. Pacific Islands.
South Sea Vagabond is also available for evening charters, weddings, and corporate dinners on Tauranga's beautiful, sheltered harbour. With the sun setting over the Kaimai Ranges, what could be a better venue ?!
