The dolphins we encounter are wild and free, some of the estimated 10,000 that inhabit the Bay of Plenty. Their behaviour and reaction to us is impossible to predict, somedays they will play for hours, other times they are on a 'mission' and we respect that and let them go their way.
Occasionally, despite our efforts, we don't find them at all, and that is just the way it is.
